University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On August 23rd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its graduation ceremony and awarded Bachelor of Science degrees to 98 students in the second batch of the 2011 academic year, including 92 students from the QH-2007-X cohort and 6 students from previous cohorts.

The first day of the 2011 university entrance exam for Group C subjects has ended. Compared to previous years, the number of candidates violating regulations has decreased significantly this year. Many candidates generally agreed that the Literature exam was good, while the History exam was easy to get off-topic.

On the morning of July 9th, 4,717 candidates took the first subject, Literature, in the university entrance exam for Group C, organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Continuing the program to enhance the capacity of leadership and management staff throughout Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), in 2011, VNU collaborated with La Verne University to organize two training courses for faculty leaders and managers.

The Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Regions (named upon establishment: Center for Research and Consulting on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities in Vietnam, abbreviated as the Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities) is a coordinating and collaborative institution affiliated with several departments within and outside the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to conduct applied research, provide consulting, and promote socio-economic development for ethnic minorities in Vietnam. It is under the direct supervision of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On June 16, 2011, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University - signed a decision promulgating the Charter of the Phan Huu Dat Award Fund and establishing the Executive Board of the Phan Huu Dat Award Fund.
