On June 7th, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son – Vice Rector of the University – met and worked with Mr. Jung Hackgyoon – Principal of the Aviation, Foreign Language and Resort Specialized School under the NSG Group, and also Head of the Cooperation Promotion Department of the NSG Group (Japan).During the meeting, the Vice Rector and representatives from NSG Group discussed the possibility of cooperation in training and scientific research between the two sides. Mr. Jung Hackgyoon stated that NSG Group's policy in the coming years is to strengthen cooperation with Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, and especially to welcome more Vietnamese students to study and conduct research at NSG Group's universities. The programs at NSG Group's universities are primarily taught in Japanese. NSG will organize selection processes and may consider reducing tuition fees and providing scholarships for students. On behalf of the university leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son expressed his hope that the cooperative relationship between the two sides will be established soon, giving students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities the opportunity to study and conduct research at NSG Group's universities. It is planned that the two sides will sign a framework agreement on the cooperation program in October. Established in 1976, the NSG Group now includes a group of companies and 27 vocational training schools offering over 100 different training fields: animation production, comics, design, sports, etc. It also has partnerships with 94 schools in 16 countries worldwide. In Vietnam alone, since 2005, NSG has established a cooperative relationship with the College of Food Industry, and on the morning of June 7th, NSG signed an exchange agreement with Thang Long University, followed by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City.
