From various perspectives, through elaborate presentations illustrated with specific data, the opinions expressed showed the deep concern of the conference delegates regarding one of the major topics in education today. Is there a disconnect between university education and the human resource demands of socio-economic life? Are students weak in skills and lacking in practical application? Is education lagging behind societal needs?... Many solutions were proposed, but first, let's begin by recognizing and understanding correctly: What does it mean for education to meet societal demands?
