In 2021, the Vietnamese Government issued the National Strategy on Gender Equality for the period 2021-2030 with the aim of continuing to narrow the gender gap in many areas, including education and training. Recognizing the importance of promoting an enabling environment for women and men to participate in and enjoy all aspects of academic careers, the Australian Volunteer Program has granted the “Impact Effectiveness Grant 2023 - 2024” to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to support female lecturers and researchers in member units, affiliated units, offices and functional departments with the aim of:
- Increase the number of women holding key leadership and management positions;

- Reduce the time burden of women's unpaid care work
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will organize successive exchanges and experience sharing sessions, including: Exchange and sharing of experiences in improving management and leadership capacity in scientific research (expected in mid-November 2023); Exchange and sharing of experiences in promoting scientific research activities (expected in mid-February 2024).

About the Exchange and sharing of experiences in improving management and leadership capacity in scientific research15 female lecturers and researchers will be selected to participate in the two-day experience exchange on improving management and leadership capacity in scientific research.
