Announcement of Admission to the High-Quality Program in Psychology, Cohort 2023-X

1. Admission quotas:45 quotas, allocated to the following admission methods:

If the number of candidates applying through the above methods is less than the approved quota, the remaining quota will be transferred to the remaining admission method.
2. Admission requirements
2.1. With methods 301 and 303:
- Students who won first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student selection exam or the national science and technology competition at the high school level have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2023.
- Students who won first, second, or third prize in the provincial/city-level excellent student selection exams; the excellent student selection exams, or the Olympic exams of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2023.
- Students registering under methods 301 and 303 must meet one of the following three conditions:
+ Having a foreign language score of 8.0 or higher in the 2023 high school graduation exam;
+ Have an average foreign language score of 8.0 or higher in each year of high school;
+ Must have an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher (or other equivalent international language certificates).
2.2. Using method 401:
Students who scored 100 points or higher on the Vietnam National University Hanoi's High School Competency Assessment Exam (HSA) were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2023 and met one of the following three conditions:
+ Having a foreign language score of 8.0 or higher in the 2023 high school graduation exam;
+ Have an average foreign language score of 8.0 or higher in each year of high school;
+ Must have an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher (or other equivalent international language certificates).
2.3. Using method 500:
Students must meet the following two conditions:
a) Having an IELTS certificate with a score of 6.0 or higher, or other equivalent international certificates, and having enrolled in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2023.
b) Having a total admission score of 35.00 or higher according to the 500-point method. Admission score = English score or international foreign language certificate converted to a 10-point scale multiplied by a factor of 2 plus the total score of the remaining two subjects in the admission combination of the 2023 high school graduation exam results that include a foreign language (the group with the highest total score among the three groups: Math + Literature, Literature + Social Sciences, or Math + Physics).
2.4. With method 100:
Students who have been admitted and enrolled at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (regardless of their chosen major) must meet the following two conditions:
a) Having a score in the chosen subject combination that is equal to or higher than the following:

+ Having a foreign language score of 8.0 or higher in the 2023 high school graduation exam;

+ Must have an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher (or other equivalent international language certificates).
3. Selection process
- Methods 301 and 303: Selection is based on ranking from highest to lowest achievement in terms of awards won.
- Methods 100, 401, 500: Admission is based on the total admission score for each method/combination, from highest to lowest.
Note: In cases where multiple students have the same score or achievement, priority will be given to students with higher foreign language scores.
