On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, organized a scientific conference with the theme: "Buddhism and the Vietnamese Revolution".
The workshop aims to affirm the great historical stature of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and at the same time clarify the spiritual value of engaging in the world and the tradition of accompanying the nation of Vietnamese Buddhism through historical periods. This is also a scientific forum for scholars, monks, nuns, and Buddhists to exchange documents and experiences, promoting the spirit of "Dharma - Nation - Socialism" in the new era.
