The Master's Program in Archival Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) offers students the opportunity to enhance their professional skills and broaden their international horizons, particularly through an Erasmus+ scholarship for a 4-month exchange program at Aix-Marseille Université (France). This is the only postgraduate program in Vietnam in the field of Archival Studies that provides the opportunity to study and conduct research at one of Europe's leading universities.

1. About the Master's Program in Archival Studies
The Master's program in Archival Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of document management, preservation, and promotion of archival values ​​in the context of digital transformation. Students will gain access to scientific research methods, information technology applications, and modern management skills, meeting the domestic and international demand for high-quality human resources in archival studies.
2. Special Feature: International Exchange Opportunities at Aix-Marseille Université
Thanks to the bilateral cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Aix-Marseille Université (France) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program, Master's students in Archival Studies have the opportunity to:
- Study and conduct research for 4 months at Aix-Marseille Université, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Europe for social sciences and humanities.
- Credits are recognized according to ECTS standards, ensuring academic value and international transferability.
- Received an Erasmus+ scholarship, which covers living and travel expenses during the exchange period.
- Participate in multinational classes to broaden your perspective and professional experience.
- In particular, students have the opportunity to learn about archival expertise and survey dozens of kilometers of documents about Vietnam during the French colonial period at the French National Overseas Archives Center (ANOM) in Aix en Provence.
3. Eligibility requirements for the exchange program
To be eligible for scholarships and exchange programs at Aix-Marseille Université, applicants need to:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Archival Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- Achieve a minimum English proficiency level of B2 (according to the European Framework of Reference – CEFR).
- The application meets the criteria of both schools.

Eligibility: Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Archival Studies or related fields who wish to pursue in-depth research and work in the field of archives.
