1. About the Master of Archival Studies programThe Master of Archival Studies program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of document management, preservation and promotion of the value of archival documents in the context of digital transformation. Learners are exposed to scientific research methods, application of information technology and modern management skills, meeting the domestic and international demand for high-quality human resources in archiving.
2. Special feature: International exchange opportunities at Aix-Marseille UniversitéThanks to the bilateral cooperation agreement between USSH and Aix-Marseille Université (France) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program, Master of Archival Studies students have the opportunity to:
- Study and research for 4 months at Aix-Marseille Université, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Europe for social sciences and humanities.
- Credits are recognized according to ECTS standards, ensuring learning value and international connectivity.
- Receive an Erasmus+ scholarship, which covers living and travel costs during the exchange period.
- Participate in multinational classes to broaden your perspective and professional experience.
- In particular, students have the opportunity to learn about archival expertise as well as survey dozens of kilometers of documents about Vietnam during the French colonial period at the French National Archives Overseas Center (ANOM) in Aix en Provence.
3. Conditions for participating in the exchange programTo be eligible for scholarships and exchanges at Aix-Marseille Université, students need:
- Currently studying for a Master's degree in Archival Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- Achieve minimum English level B2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference – CEFR).
- Have application documents that meet the criteria of two schools.
