Purpose of the Workshop- Affirming the great stature and great historical significance of the August Revolution in 1945 and National Day September 2 in the cause of national liberation; opening a turning point bringing the Vietnamese nation into a new era - the era of national independence associated with socialism.
- Affirming the value of Buddhism's worldly spirit and the tradition of Vietnamese Buddhism accompanying the nation in the nation's historical stages.
- Review the traditions and great contributions of Buddhism, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in pagodas contributing to the success of the August Revolution that gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; contributing to the victory of the two long-term resistance wars of the nation, culminating in the great victory in the spring of 1975; contributing to the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland today.
- Lessons learned for the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to promote in its motto of operation: Dharma - Nation - Socialism.
- Create a scientific forum for researchers, scholars; monks, nuns, and Buddhists to exchange and share historical documents and practical experiences to promote the spirit of patriotism, good life and good religion in Buddhist activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the new era of the nation.

3. Content of the Workshop
3.1. Buddhism contributed to the success of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
3.2. Contributions of Vietnamese Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in the two long resistance wars against French and American imperialism to gain national independence and unify the country;
3.3. Engaged Buddhism contributes to the cause of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland today.

- The article is typed on A4 paper (210 x 297 mm), Times New Roman font (Unicode), font size 13, left margin 3 cm, right margin 2 cm, top margin 2.5 cm, bottom margin 2.5 cm (including images), line spacing 1.5 lines;
- Articles sent to the Organizing Committee include: Title; Author/author group name; Abstract (about 150-200 words); Keywords (3-5 words); Article content (about 3000 words); References; Author information (full name, work unit, phone number, email, contact address);
- Articles submitted to the Conference must be new. Articles will be checked for data duplication according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee and evaluated through an independent review process by reputable experts and scientists.
- Qualified articles will be selected for publication in the proceedings with ISBN index.
