The school-wide meeting chaired by Principal, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh took place on December 1, 2010.The Principal's general assessment of the implementation of the work in November, the units have completed the main tasks according to the plan. The Principal also pointed out some tasks that have not been completed or have been implemented but are behind schedule, such as: The Conference on users of training management software has not been organized; The collection of tuition fees for the open VLVH system in localities, the tuition fees for postgraduate programs in association with Ho Chi Minh City and the payment of expenses for strategic tasks are behind schedule compared to the plan. Regarding the key tasks in December 2010, the Principal especially emphasized some tasks as follows: Party work, organization, propaganda, and mass organizations: Conducting the organization of the assessment of the quality of Party cells and Party members in 2010; Organize a class to foster awareness of the Party for outstanding union members. At the same time, summarize the implementation of the Six Programs towards standardizing and modernizing the school's activities in the period 2003 - 2010. And some other specific tasks: Complete the adjustment of the Internal Expenditure Regulations; Complete the classification of workers receiving additional income in 2010; Implement the first round of commendation in 2011. Training, student affairs, quality control and inspection: Quickly deploy and issue some specific instructions and regulations: Instructions for implementing the University Training Regulations at VNU, Temporary regulations on managing undergraduate training for foreign students, Temporary regulations on inviting foreign lecturers. At the same time, organize registration for subjects in the second semester; organize the first semester exam; organize a School-level conference to summarize 4 years of credit training; Consider regular allowances for students. Scientific research and international cooperation: This month, the University will organize international conferences: Preserving and promoting national cultural identity to serve sustainable development, Vietnam Studies: Interdisciplinary approaches in the context of globalization and coordinate the organization of the conference to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian writer Lev Tolstoy. In addition, many other activities will take place: Summarizing the 2010 postgraduate admissions and postgraduate training for the QH-2007-X course; Graduation consideration and proposal for VNU to grant master's degree blanks to graduate students of the QH-2007-X course; Announcing the first round of postgraduate admissions in 2011; Organizing a discussion with a number of universities in the region on building an international training program framework for Southeast Asian Studies.
