Opening of Course 2 of the 2+2 joint training program.

The opening ceremony for the second cohort of the 2+2 joint training program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Guangxi University (China) was held this morning, November 18, 2010.This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) has admitted 42 students to three classes in the fields of Tourism Management, Journalism, and Chinese Language. On behalf of the university leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son (Vice Rector) congratulated the newly admitted students on the second cohort of the program. The Vice Rector also reminded the new students to strive for academic excellence from the outset, as students in the joint program, in addition to their specialized subjects, must also focus on learning a foreign language to successfully complete their studies. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Professor Truong Hiep Khoi (Vice Rector of Guangxi University) congratulated the university on its successful 65th anniversary celebration and happily welcomed the new students. On this occasion, USSH also awarded certificates of merit and prizes to four students in the 2+2 joint program in Tourism Management and Public Administration who achieved outstanding academic results in the 2009-2010 academic year.
