For the Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Rabbit 2011, all students in the university will have a holiday from January 27th to February 7th, 2011. The second semester of the 2010-2011 academic year will begin on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011.However, due to varying student timetables and exam schedules, many students and classes will finish their final exams before January 18, 2011. Therefore, the Deans of the Faculties should note: Before January 13, if the Deans of the Faculties have a plan to work with students within the timeframe of the first semester, they must clearly inform students of the content, time, and location so that students can be aware and comply. Students must follow the work schedule announced by the Faculty in addition to their semester exams. However, if students have finished their exams by January 12 and the Faculty has not announced any other work, students are allowed to go home for Tet (Lunar New Year). Furthermore, students must pay special attention to ensuring they register for courses in the second semester of the 2010-2011 academic year in accordance with the University's regulations.
