Tuition fees and scholarships are always hot topics.

Regarding policy issues, tuition fees and scholarships are always hot topics, attracting much attention from students. Many students have inquired about policies and procedures related to tuition fee exemptions and reductions. Mr. Pham Quang Vu - Deputy Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs - directly answered students' questions about the new regulations on tuition fee exemptions and reductions based on Government Decree 49, addressing specific cases such as: students who are children of people with meritorious service to the revolution, orphaned students, ethnic minority students, etc. Besides tuition fees, scholarships are also a major concern for students. The majority of students expressed their desire for information and activities regarding scholarship payments to students to be implemented more quickly.

Practical suggestions for administrative and management work.

Many students raised questions about the facilities and equipment in the lecture halls, such as suggesting that English classrooms should have more fans, that classrooms and the canteen area should be expanded. Some also questioned the slow wireless internet connection. There were even creative suggestions related to the students' practical needs: they hoped the university would contact relevant authorities to build an overpass across Nguyen Trai Street for convenience and safety. The Head of Administration, Dang Ngoc Trai, directly addressed and answered each student's question specifically, stating that issues related to the attitude of parking attendants, the opening hours of Building I, and the wireless internet connection would be resolved soon.

Training – the focus of dialogue

Over 30 questions were compiled beforehand, and dozens more were asked directly by students during the dialogue session regarding training. The majority of these questions focused on issues such as course registration, dual degree programs, foreign languages, responsibilities of staff and lecturers, exams, transcripts, student codes, etc. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son – Vice Rector of the University – and Mr. Dinh Viet Hai – Deputy Head of the Training Department – discussed and provided specific and clear answers to each issue and question from the students.

And many other problems…

Besides questions about training, facilities, and policies, some student opinions focused on the information center and library, addressing issues such as borrowing textbooks and reference materials, photocopying documents, and renewing library cards. Other questions concerned tuition fees, financial support for student internships, health insurance, dormitories, criteria for joining the Party, and participation in student organizations. All student concerns and questions were discussed and promptly answered by the university leadership and representatives from various departments. At the dialogue session, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the university – emphasized that the university acknowledges and accepts student feedback and is ready to answer any concerns and questions to create the most favorable learning environment for students.
