In preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2012, the school announces the following work schedule and holiday plan for staff and students:
In preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2012, the school announces the following work schedule and holiday plan for staff and students:Faculty and students will be on holiday from January 16, 2012 (the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) to January 29, 2012 (the 7th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Dragon). However, students and faculty members who are assigned to supervise exams (on January 16, 2012) will have their Tet holiday break after completing their duties. Administrative staff will be on holiday from January 21, 2012 (the 28th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) to January 29, 2012; they will work a compensatory day on February 4, 2012 (Saturday). In addition, the University will also organize Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations: - A New Year's gathering with retired staff at 8:30 AM on January 12, 2012 (the 19th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) at the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E. - In coordination with the University of Natural Sciences, a conference summarizing the work of 2011 and a New Year's gathering with agencies, units, and localities will be held at 9:00 AM on January 13, 2012 (the 20th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) at Room 506, building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. - University leaders will visit and extend New Year greetings to the families and former Rectors and Party Secretaries of Hanoi University who have retired. - An incense offering ceremony will be held at the Temple of Literature and Mia Pagoda, Va Temple (Son Tay - Hanoi) at 9:00 AM on January 26, 2012 (the 4th day of the Year of the Dragon). All staff and employees are invited to attend. To ensure safety and fire prevention, please note that at the end of the workday on January 20, 2012, all offices and filing cabinets must be sealed. Each unit should appoint one staff member to be on duty for easy communication and to report the list, address, and phone number to the school through the Administrative and Management Department.
