On May 7, 2010, the Faculty of Library Information organized a ceremony to award certificates of additional university knowledge in Library Information to 07 students and professional certificates in Library Information to 04 other students. The students have undergone a serious course with a duration of 18 subjects, equivalent to 40 credits or 600 hours of study within 3 months. The learning results of the course were very good with 3/11 people achieving excellent results. Speaking at the Certificate Awarding Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Quy (Head of the Faculty) said: In response to practical needs, in October 2009, VNU allowed the Faculty to expand the enrollment target for master's training in Library Science; in November 2009, the University agreed to allow the Faculty to open a class to recruit students to supplement knowledge for the master's entrance exam and to foster professional skills in the field of Information and Communications. The successful enrollment and completion of the course has allowed many students, who are currently working at Library Information agencies nationwide, to have the opportunity to continue their graduate studies in Library Science at the University or to receive further professional knowledge to serve their work. It is known that this is the second supplementary course organized by the Faculty of Information and Library. Previously, at the end of 2009, the first course was also successfully organized with the participation of more than 20 students. It is expected that the course will continue to be organized annually to serve the needs of a large number of students.
