On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the tradition and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Association of Retired Faculty Members organized the compilation of the book "From General Studies to Humanities – Memories of a School"This book is a heartfelt expression of deep affection and gratitude to our beloved alma mater, from the University of Hanoi to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. It contains the recollections of many generations of former faculty members in various positions about the school, teachers, colleagues, and students who have contributed to the school's reputation."
Readers can feel in this book the warm, loving sentiments and pride expressed through each page, while also conveying their thoughts and aspirations for the school where they have been and are still connected.
Therefore, readers can easily recognize the "Synthetic style" through the heartfelt and tender writings about the teacher-student and colleague relationships, the aspirations and desires in academic fields, and the arduous yet heroic years that created the foundations and built the reputation of the School today.
