Based on Decision No. 37/2018/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2018, of the Prime Minister promulgating regulations on standards and procedures for considering and recognizing the attainment of professorship and associate professorship titles; and procedures for considering the revocation of recognition and dismissal from professorship and associate professorship titles;
Based on the Decisions of the Chairman of the State Council of Professors regarding the recognition of qualifications for the titles of professor and associate professor;
Based on the strategic development plan of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University announces the number of professors and associate professors to be appointed to various disciplines in 2025 as follows:
Appointment requirements
Conditions for registration for appointment- Having been recognized as meeting the standards for the title of professor or associate professor by the State Council of Professors, or having been appointed to the title of professor or associate professor by an educational institution abroad and meeting the needs and conditions for appointment of the University (The educational institution abroad must have been accredited and recognized for its quality by an accreditation organization permitted to operate under the laws of the host country).
- I aspire to be appointed to the position of professor or associate professor at the University.
The application dossier for appointment to the positions of professor and associate professor includes:
- Application form for appointment to professor or associate professor positions (Form No. 15, Appendix II issued with Decision No. 37/2018/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2018 of the Prime Minister).
- A copy of the decision recognizing the qualifications for the title of professor or associate professor for the candidate applying for appointment to the title of professor or associate professor.
- Proof of appointment to the title of professor or associate professor at a foreign higher education institution (if applicable).
- Copies must be certified or notarized in accordance with the law or compared with the original when submitting the application.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has begun accepting applications for the appointment of associate professors in 2025.
