In accordance with Directive 297/HD-VNU-HN dated February 3, 2017, on "Organizing the training of foreign language courses within the general knowledge block in undergraduate and master's programs at Vietnam National University, Hanoi," and Official Letter No. 1593/VNU-DT dated May 24, 2019, on "List of institutions issuing foreign language certificates according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam," the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the organization of basic foreign language courses and the issuance of B1 certificates/Bachelor's degrees in foreign languages as follows:

1. Organizing basic foreign language courses:
- Students register for courses with the postgraduate training assistants of the respective units.according to the attached form), then the units compile the list and send it to the Training Department (Postgraduate Studies Division).
- Registration period: from December 1st to December 31st, 2020.
- The school will only open a class if there are 30 or more registered students. If the number is below this limit, students will have to wait for the next registration period until the required number is reached.
2. Obtain a B1 certificate/Bachelor's degree in foreign languages:
- Students should refer to guidance document 297/HD-ĐHQGHN and official letter 1593/ĐHQGHN-ĐT to understand the specific content regarding regulations, the institutions recognized by VNU, and the certificate forms prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training...
- Submit an application for exemption from foreign language courses along with a notarized photocopy of your diploma/certificate.attached sample
- Submit your application and diploma/certificate at Room 607 - Building E on Wednesday and Friday afternoons (2:00 PM - 4:30 PM) and Tuesday and Thursday mornings (8:30 AM - 11:00 AM) every week.
*Note: Starting from the 2018 cohort, students only need to submit their application and diploma/certificate to the Training Department (Postgraduate Studies Division), not to the faculty.
