Pursuant to Document No. 297/HD- VNU dated February 3, 2017 on "Organizing training of foreign language modules in the general knowledge block in the undergraduate and master's training program at VNU Hanoi" and Official Dispatch No. 1593/VNU-DT dated May 24, 2019 on "List of institutions granting foreign language certificates according to the 6-level foreign language competency framework for use in Vietnam". The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the organization of basic foreign language courses and the collection of B1 certificates/bachelor's degrees in foreign languages ​​as follows:

1. Organizing basic foreign language learning:

- Students register to study with the University Training Assistant of the units (according to attached form), then the units compile the list and send it to the Training Department (Department of Training)

- Registration period: from December 1 to December 31, 2020.

- The school will only open a class when there are 30 or more registered students. If there are less than that number, students will wait for the next registration period to have enough students to open the class.

2. Obtain B1 certificate/Bachelor's degree in foreign languages:

- Students should refer to instruction 297/HD-DHVNHN and CV No. 1593/DHVNHN-DT to understand the specific content of the regulations, the certificate granting facilities recognized by VNU, the certificate form prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training...

- Apply for exemption from foreign language study with notarized copies of diplomas/certificates according tosample attached

- Submit application and diploma/certificate at Room 607 - Building E on Wednesday and Friday afternoons (2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.), Tuesday and Thursday mornings (8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) every week.

* Note: Starting from the 2018 course, students only need to submit their application and diploma/certificate to the Training Department (Department of Postgraduate Studies), and do not need to submit a copy to the faculty.
