Demand for Associate Professor appointments in 2020

Based on Decision No. 37/2018/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2018, of the Prime Minister promulgating regulations on standards and procedures for considering and recognizing the attainment of professorship and associate professorship titles; and procedures for considering the revocation of recognition and dismissal from professorship and associate professorship titles;

Based on Decision No. 66/QD-HDGSNN dated December 23, 2020, of the State Council of Professors on the recognition of achieving the standards for the titles of professor and associate professor in 2020;

Based on the strategic development plan of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University announces the number of associate professors to be appointed in 2020 for the following disciplines:

2. Conditions for registration for appointment

- Has been recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor by the State Council of Professors or has been appointed to the title of Associate Professor by an educational institution abroad and meets the needs and conditions for appointment of the University (The educational institution abroad must have been accredited and recognized for its quality by an accreditation organization permitted to operate under the laws of the host country).
- I aspire to be appointed as an Associate Professor at the University.

3. The application dossier for appointment to the position of Associate Professor includes:

- Application for appointment to the position of Associate Professor (Form No. 15, Appendix II issued with Decision No. 37/2018/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2018 of the Prime Minister).

- A copy of the decision recognizing the candidate's eligibility for the associate professor title.

- Proof of appointment to the position of associate professor at a foreign higher education institution (if applicable).

- Copies must be certified or notarized in accordance with the law or compared with the original when submitting the application.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will begin accepting applications for the appointment of Associate Professors in 2020 from December 31, 2020 to January 7, 2021 at the Personnel Department (Room 602, Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).
