In accordance with the directives of the Prime Minister at the Government Standing Committee meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control on the afternoon of December 1, 2020, and Official Letter No. 3705/ĐHQGHN-CTHSSV dated December 3, 2020, from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the continued assurance of COVID-19 prevention and control and the effective performance of tasks at the unit; given the rapid and complex developments of the COVID-19 epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City in recent days, the University requests that all units implement the following:
- Continue to monitor and closely follow the situation, maintain and ensure the serious and effective implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures in accordance with updated guidelines and directives from all levels and the School.
- Units are carrying out normal operations while ensuring reasonable social distancing, temperature monitoring, mask wearing, use of hand sanitizer, and complete and timely health declarations.
- Based on practical conditions, relevant departments and training units should prepare contingency plans to switch to online teaching and learning when necessary.
- Units responsible for maintaining environmental hygiene ensure that workplaces, lecture halls, libraries, restrooms, canteens, etc., have disinfectant, soap, and clean water, and maintain general cleanliness.
- The Trade Union, Youth Union, Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and other units continue to carry out propaganda and dissemination work to staff, students, and postgraduate students on implementing disease prevention and control measures both inside and outside the units.
