Institute of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities enrolls students for the short-term course "Journalism and Communication Profession".

1. Course target
- Students studying or graduated from University or College, want to work in the field of journalism and media
- People who are working in the field of journalism and media but do not have a degree in the right field, need to supplement their professional certificate to complete their application for recruitment/promotion to civil servant positions.
- All people interested in and love the field of journalism and media
2. Training program
- Provide basic knowledge of modern journalism and media
- Practice working skills in the field of journalism: finding topics, interviewing, processing information, organizing works, editing skills...
- Work on basic journalistic genres: news, interviews, reports
- Building multimedia journalism works
- 70% of the practice time is guided by lecturers from the Institute of Journalism and Communication, experienced journalists and reporters. Practical experience at newspaper offices.
- At the end of the course, students can work to publish journalistic works on demand in the fields of print and electronic newspapers.
3. Certificate
- Vietnamese - English certificate issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, meeting the requirements for the title of reporter and editor of Circular 11/2016 /TTLT - Ministry of Information and Communications - Ministry of Home Affairs
4. Study time:8 weeks
- Weekday class: 18:00 - 20:00 every Monday and Wednesday
- Weekend class: 8:00 - 17:00 every Saturday
5. Tuition:2,500,000 VND
- Discount for students of University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU: 2,200,000 VND/student
- 10% discount on tuition for groups of 5 or more (2,250,000/student)
