I. Admissions for the International Linguistics Program

1. Criteria: 30 2. Student RightsStudents receive high priority in their training, specifically: - Internationally standardized programs; modern training processes and classrooms; opportunities for internships abroad… taught and supervised by leading lecturers and foreign lecturers in scientific research. - Exclusive use of specialized libraries and multimedia classrooms; priority access to learning materials, technical equipment, library facilities, and the university's shared internet system. - Scholarships to encourage academic achievement (expected amounts: Type A: 500,000 VND/month, Type B1: 450,000 VND/month, Type B: 400,000 VND/month, Type C: 350,000 VND/month) and priority consideration for scholarships sponsored by domestic and international organizations and individuals; higher financial support for scientific research compared to other systems. - In the 2010-2011 academic year, students primarily studied English at the University of Foreign Languages ​​(Pham Van Dong Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi). The university provided 50 dormitory places for students who needed them. - Students were given priority in postgraduate studies and in developing a pool of lecturers (valedictorians and salutatorians were given priority in recruitment as lecturers at the university, and received scholarships to pursue master's or doctoral degrees abroad).3. Was an excellent student for three consecutive years in high school (grades 10, 11, and 12) c. Graduated from a specialized high school affiliated with a university or centrally-administered province/city d. University entrance exam score: 19 points or higher for block C and 18 points or higher for block D (excluding regional and preferential treatment points).3.2. Selection Method3.2.1. II. Admission to the high-quality undergraduate program

1. CriteriaTotal: 100, including: Literature - 25, History - 25, Philosophy - 20, and Management Science - 30.2. Student RightsIn addition to the general rights and obligations of full-time students, high-quality undergraduate students also enjoy the following benefits: - Direct teaching and research guidance from leading scientists, professors, and lecturers with high qualifications, experience, and prestige. - Priority access to learning materials, technical equipment, library resources, and internet access for learning and research. - Priority consideration for academic achievement scholarships (expected amounts: Type A: 450,000 VND/month, Type B: 400,000 VND/month, Type C: 350,000 VND/month) and scholarships sponsored by domestic and international organizations and individuals. - Priority consideration for overseas study programs according to state quotas or international cooperation programs that align with the high-quality undergraduate training goals of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the University. - Upon graduation, students will be given priority consideration for postgraduate studies and doctoral programs, or for selection as teaching staff or research staff at Hanoi National University.3. Selection criteria and methods 3.1. Selection CriteriaStudents who were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2010 (through direct admission and entrance examination, regardless of the major), met the foreign language proficiency requirements and satisfied one of the following conditions: a. Won third prize or higher in the national high school student excellence competition (2009, 2010) b. Was an excellent student for three consecutive years in high school (grades 10, 11, and 12) c. Graduated from a specialized high school affiliated with a university or centrally-administered province/city d. University entrance exam scores (for all exam blocks, excluding regional and preferential treatment points): Management Science (Block C: 21.5 points, Block D: 19 points), History (Block C: 21 points, Block D: 18.5 points), Literature (Block C: 21.5 points and Block D: 19.5 points), Philosophy (Block A: 17 points, Blocks C and D: 18 points).3.2. Selection method:3.2.1. Direct admission: The subjects mentioned in section II.3.1.a. 3.2.2. Selection based on academic records: The remaining subjects in section II.3.1.

III. Admission to the French language program specializing in Clinical Psychology

1. Criteria: 20 2. Student Rights- The foreign language of instruction in the program is French. Students receive enhanced French language training (660 hours, 1.5 times the duration of a standard undergraduate program) and study several specialized subjects in French. - They enjoy academic benefits according to the policies of the Francophone Community University Organization. - They are awarded scholarships to encourage academic achievement at the level of the high-quality program; they have priority access to learning materials, resources, and the internet system of the Francophone postgraduate training program. - Graduates are a source of recruitment for joint postgraduate training programs between universities in the Republic of France and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; they are also a source of selection for postgraduate studies abroad with state scholarships or international cooperation programs of the university.3. Selection criteria and methods 3.1. Selection CriteriaStudents who were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2010 (either through direct admission or entrance examination, regardless of the major), met the foreign language proficiency requirements, and had university entrance exam scores of 19.50 points or higher for Block C and 19 points or higher for Block D, are eligible to register for admission consideration.3.2. Selection MethodAdmission will be based on university entrance exam scores among students who meet the foreign language proficiency requirements, with priority given to students who have studied French in high school.

IV. Regarding foreign language proficiency testing

At 2 PM on September 11, 2010, the foreign language proficiency test for students enrolled in these programs will be held. The list of students taking the test will be posted in the Information Room, 1st floor, Building G, before the test begins.

V. Registration for the entrance examination

- Application forms can be obtained and submitted at room 604, building E, or downloaded from the website: http://dt.ussh.edu.vn - Application and foreign language proficiency test fee: 50,000 VND/student - The deadline for registration is 4:00 PM, September 10, 2010. Admission results will be announced at 4:00 PM, September 13, 2010, at room 604, building E, and on the website: http://dt.ussh.edu.vn. Successful applicants will begin classes on September 14, 2010. Students who have applied and are accepted cannot change their preferences; those who are not accepted will continue studying in the same major they were enrolled in.
