The School Union has spread the spirit of dynamism and creativity.

As of January 2020, the School Union directly manages 520 union members, including 293 female union members. The staff meets the requirements of training standards, professional standards and management standards according to regulations. In the first semester of the last school year, 09 union members retired and 02 new union members were admitted.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam - Vice President of VNU Trade Union spoke at the conference, saying that he was always impressed with the activities of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities because of the methodical and thoroughness in the activities and the attraction of many union members to participate.

In particular, the School Union has organized many outstanding activities, receiving high appreciation from union members such as: organizing a seminar on "Cyber ​​Security Law" to disseminate information and knowledge about network security; organizing "Humanity Connection Festival" to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 with the participation of more than 300 staff and students from 21 department unions - creating opportunities for USSH staff to show off their culinary skills and create connections to meet union members throughout the school.

Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - President of the School's Trade Union said: to make trade union activities effective and attractive to union members, the role of trade union officials is very important.

Another highlight is that the Union successfully organized the program.Happy Children's Dayat the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre andHappy Mid-Autumn Festivalfor children of civil servants at the Youth Theater attracted nearly 500 children of civil servants working at a number of schools to participate. For the first time, the School's Trade Union coordinated with the Trade Union of the University of Natural Sciences and the Trade Union of the National Economics University to successfully organize a joint program, both increasing operational efficiency and creating connections and saving organization costs.

Regarding social activities, in 2 days (December 21-22, 2019), the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities joined the Trade Union of 5 Universities (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National Economics University, University of Construction, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences - VNU) to visit and present 02 outdoor sports facilities to teachers and students of Dong Hong High School and Ha Lang High School (Chiem Hoa district, Tuyen Quang province). At the same time, the delegation presented 30 Tet gifts to teachers in difficult circumstances in Tuyen Quang province on the occasion of the New Year 2020.

Acknowledging and appreciating the activities of the School's Trade Union, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh shared: he was happy to see the spirit of innovation, creativity, youthfulness and connection throughout the activities of the union over the past years. To do that is not easy and the union officers must truly carry the spirit of innovation as well as put a lot of enthusiasm, emotion and heart into each initiative for common activities. He also saw the innovation in the union officers of the School and units with young faces, rich in capacity and dedication.
