Reviewing the results of leadership work in January and February 2012, and the key tasks for March and April 2012 of the School Party Committee.

I. Evaluation of leadership performance in January and February 2012

1. Professional work 1.1. Training activities:- Directing the successful organization of the first semester exams of the 2011-2012 academic year. - Directing the Training Departments, Postgraduate Training Departments, and other units to accelerate the implementation of the transformation of undergraduate and postgraduate training programs; and to develop learning outcomes. - Providing training on innovative teaching methods for young staff; and implementing strategic tasks. - Directing the completion of the mid-term school evaluation report.1.2. Scientific and technological activities, international cooperation:- Directing the successful organization of seminars on topics such as: Media culture in the era of integration; Regional integration: Perspectives of the European Union and ASEAN; - Directing the development and expansion of training cooperation with international universities and businesses.1.3. Political work and students:- Completed the scholarship review process for the first semester of the 2011-2012 academic year. - Successfully organized the university admissions counseling for 2012.1.4. Financial and infrastructure planning:- Directing the continued renovation and expansion of facilities, completing the documentation for adding floors to building C, and refurbishing the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E. - Preparing the final accounts for 2011. - Implementing the development of an administrative reform project according to ISO standards.2. Results of Party work: 2.1. Propaganda work:Directing Party branches and units to carry out activities commemorating the founding of the Party and celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Dragon.2.2. Organizational and personnel matters:- Directed the introduction and appointment of two additional Vice Principals for the 2009-2014 term. - Directed the preparation for the recruitment of staff and employees in 2012. - Directed the implementation of seniority allowances for staff and employees.2.3. Work on building Party organizations and Party members:- The Party Committee elected two additional members to the Party Committee Executive Board: + Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa + Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu. - The Party Committee elected two additional members to the Party Committee Standing Committee: + Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa + Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim. - Assignment of duties for the two newly elected members of the Party Committee Standing Committee: + Comrade Nguyen Van Kim, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Head of the Party Committee's Organization Department. + Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department. - The Party Committee assigned Party Committee members to be in charge of the Party branches: + Comrade Nguyen Van Kim, in charge of Party branch I (administrative block); + Comrade Nguyen Quang Lieu, in charge of the Archival Studies and Office Management Department Party branch; + Comrade Tran Thi Minh Hoa, in charge of the Tourism Studies Department Party branch and Party branch II (administrative block); + Comrade Nguyen Van Hieu, in charge of the Journalism & Communication Department Party branch; + The remaining Party branches will follow the assignments given at the beginning of the term by the Party Committee. - Directed the Inspection Committee to inspect the Party work of several Party branches. - Considered admitting 9 new Party members and granting full membership to 5 probationary Party members.3. Activities of organizations:Directing the Veterans Association Congress, the Trade Union, and the Youth Union in preparing for their term congresses and implementing activities according to assigned tasks. Overall assessment: The Party Committee has led the unit to successfully complete regular and extraordinary professional tasks and effectively fulfill its leadership role within the unit.

II. Focus of work for March and April 2012

1. Directing the unit to implement the plan for the second semester of the 2011-2012 academic year; completing the conversion of undergraduate and postgraduate training programs; developing output standards. Directing the successful organization of the first postgraduate entrance examination in 2012. Providing training on innovative teaching methods. 2. Directing the restructuring of the Faculty of International Studies' leadership board and implementing the training of staff to carry out strategic tasks. 3. Directing the preparation of scientific seminars/workshops. 4. Directing the University's Trade Union and Youth Union Congresses. 5. Continuing to direct the renovation of the Thượng Đình area's facilities. Implementing the reform of university governance according to ISO standards. 6. Organizing the 2012 Party work conference.
