"I am K56"

On the evening of September 23rd, the "I am K56" cultural program took place at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural Center auditorium. Attending the program were Comrade Nguyen Hai Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and President of the Student Association of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, along with representatives from the university's leadership and the Youth Union and Student Association, and representatives from the sponsors of the K56 Talent Competition: Vietnam Education Newspaper and Aptech Polytechnic Academy.

  • Gold Award: Tran Bich Thao (K56 BC&TT), Dance Talent "Midday Dream"
  • Silver Award: Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung (K56 Management Science), Talented Singer of "Strange Wind"
  • Crystal Award: + Nguyen Yen Chi (K56 BC&TT), Talented Singer of "Mother's Love" + Nguyen Phuong Thao (K56 LTH&QTVP), Talented Dancer
  • Promising Talent Award: Ha My (K56 Literature), Talented Singer of "White Flower"
The program combined the K56 Talent Competition Finals with artistic performances by students who won top prizes in the 2010 Student Talent Competition. The evening served as a welcome from the new K56 generation to their friends, teachers, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. As a result, student Tran Bich Thao (K56, Faculty of Journalism and Communication) was awarded the Gold prize in the K56 Talent Competition for her dance performance "Midday Dream". "I am K56," organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the university this year, represents a significant innovation compared to previous freshman welcoming gala programs.
