Monday - 07/06/2015 00:24
In each exam season, at each exam location, we encounter special circumstances somewhere. Candidates are special because of their efforts to overcome their circumstances with the desire to conquer the pinnacle of knowledge. Parents are special because of their exhausting sacrifices to let their children reach the university gate. But few of us notice that, in each exam location, there are also very special volunteers. And in Nhan Van this year, there is also a special "stone flower". That "stone flower" is...

He is ambitious.

“He is an ambitious person, but that ambition is not bad, his ambition is to be active. Since he became the leader of the Hoa Da Club, he has made many connections to expand programs to help Hoa Da members integrate and be more active”. That is the sharing of Nguyen Minh Trang (K58 Psychology - Member of Hoa Da Club)

The Calendar and the Club in activities

He shares, he is sociable.

Thuy Giang (Class 58 Journalism - Member of Hoa Da Club) expressed: “I really admire and love him. Having worked with him for over a year, I have learned from him confidence and determination. He has put aside his personal inferiority complex to express himself, share himself and integrate himself with activities and members. He is also a typical example of leadership.”

Exchanging and meeting members is his great joy.

He is active.

Seeing him wearing the green volunteer shirt, seeing him smiling and holding hands with his teammates, working together on the front line in front of the gate of Nhan Van School during the 2015 high school exam season, few people noticed that he was a person with a congenital disability since childhood.

“While my peers were happily going to school, I was still learning to crawl and crawl at home. Then I could walk by myself. I wanted to go to school, so my parents had to work hard to take me to and from school throughout my primary school years. When I was in secondary school and high school, my friends took me there. That was my childhood.”

With such a “different” childhood, he learned a lesson about empathy. Then, when he came to the university environment, the Hoa Da Club at Nhan Van was his second home where he continued to receive sympathy from his friends and society.

But not stopping there, he always strives to overcome his health disability, wishing and aspiring to participate in more community activities. There have been many programs that he and Hoa Da Club have coordinated with charity organizations outside the society to organize (such as activities at the Friendship Children's Villages, the program "Forever Your Smile", exchanges at Thanh Xuan Trung Primary School...). The target audience is also children, those in difficult circumstances like him. "I do this not to repay but I do it because I want to share my understanding of their circumstances with them." He explained his motivation.

This year's exam season, he brought Hoa Da Club to join the exam support with the school's Student Volunteer Team. He represented the club and asked for more than 600 free meals to support family members and candidates during the two exam days at Nhan Van school.

I wish you – the exemplary, strong leader, always keep a warm heart, a bright smile to overcome more challenges in life. And you will be resilient, rise up, rise up to live each second, each minute full of meaning.
