The thematic talk organized by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication is part of a collaborative project between the faculty and the University of Stirling (UK) on media management.
During the talk, Professor Thomas Beke presented an overview of understanding and enforcing laws in the field of public relations, particularly in businesses. The laws related to public relations discussed included: media law, laws concerning media outlets and professionals, and legal and litigation aspects of PR.

The seminar attracted many students, faculty members, and PR professionals from various businesses.
The professor also emphasized the importance of legal knowledge in public relations: "Public relations professionals who lack legal knowledge often violate regulations and face risks in the course of their work. As a result, they will bear personal responsibility, and it is very dangerous when you represent a business."
