On April 13, 2011, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication organized the 2010 Student Scientific Conference. There were 05 topics presented by student groups at the Conference.
On April 13, 2011, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication organized the 2010 Student Scientific Conference. There were 05 topics presented by student groups at the Conference.This year's scientific topics focus on new issues in the practical life of journalism and media. The highlight is the report "Studying the radio broadcasting model on mobile phones using 3G technology: a case study of Viettel" by author Vu Thuy Linh. The critical comments at the Conference from teachers help students realize the importance of scientific research and knowledge seeking activities. The Conference is also an opportunity for young people to learn more research methods and make appropriate investments in scientific research. After the presentations and discussions, the Organizing Committee announced the results and awarded prizes to the topics with excellent results:
  • 01 first prize: "Research on mobile radio broadcasting model using 3G technology, Viettel case study" by author Vu Thuy Linh (class K52).
  • 02 second prizes: + "War in photos winning the photo of the year award, world press photo award from 1955 to 2010" by author Le Thi Thu Huyen (class K54) + "Organizing events in promoting corporate brands (studying the Canon event - smart prism and Canon Photo Marathon quick photos of Canon company 2010)" by author Nguyen Thi Hien (class K52).
  • 02 third prizes: "Using keywords on electronic newspapers" by author Vu Tien Thanh (class K54). + "The face of Vietnamese education in 2010 through the press" by authors Tran Thuy Ngan and Duong Nguyen Da Oanh (class K53).
