On April 25, 2022, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized the "Green Torch" Student Scientific Research Conference for the 2021-2022 academic year. With the main topical research topic "Approaching digital transformation from the perspective of social sciences and humanities", the Conference attracted the attention of many staff, lecturers, and students inside and outside the school.

The workshop is an activity under Project TN3/X07 “Social development issues and social development management in the Central Highlands” chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Pham Ngoc Thanh, taking place on April 12, 2013. There are 22 reports from experts and scientists in many fields: policy science, management science, development science, culture, ethnology, sociology, etc.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 827/ĐHQGHN-KHCN dated March 20, 2013 of Hanoi National University on the development of plans and budget estimates for science and technology (S&T) in 2014, the University requests units to summarize S&T activities in the 2012-2013 school year and propose S&T tasks for the 2014 fiscal year with the following specific contents.

On March 28 and 29, 2013, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with Johannes Gutenberg University (Mainz, Germany) organized an international conference: "Ethics and Technology".

Discussion on contributing opinions to the Draft Law on Science and Technology organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 25, 2013. The discussion had the participation of experts and managers in the field of policy science inside and outside the university.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2013), on the morning of March 19, 2013, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam under the Japan International Exchange Fund in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an open presentation on the topic: "Japan's new international relations with a focus on the Japan-China-US relationship and the Southeast Asian region".

On March 14, 2013, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation organized a workshop: “The development of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in the context of the global economic crisis - the perspectives of the EU and ASEAN”.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 661/VNU-KHCN on proposing State-level science and technology tasks in 2014, the Department of Scientific Research Management requests that staff with proposals please send the Proposal Form to the Department before March 19, 2013 for synthesis.

Prof. Dr. Ralph Michael Wrobel (West Saxon University, Germany) gave a presentation on the topic: “Social market economy model and the role of the state – International experience and application to Vietnam” at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 7, 2013.

On December 24, 2012, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Science and Technology Development Fund approved the List of basic research topics in social sciences and humanities funded by the National Science and Technology Development Fund to be implemented from 2013, attached.Decision No. 44/QD-HDQLQ.

The international scientific conference with the theme “Paris Agreement 1973: 40 years in review” was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnamese scientists in collaboration with experts from the University of Paris I, the Institute of Military History of the Ministry of National Defense, the University of Monperllier, the University of Lyon (France), the University of Hawaii Pacific (USA), and the University of Greifswald (Germany) on January 17, 2013.
