Financial and material resources remain limitations for the clubs and need to be addressed through various measures. In 2017, the School Sports Association will hold its general assembly for the 2017-2022 term.

Professor Pham Quang Minh, Rector and President of the University's Sports Association.

Concluding the conference, the President of the University's Sports Association, Professor Pham Quang Minh, emphasized:We have many aspirations, the first being to ensure safety in training: such as martial arts clubs, cheerleading clubs, etc. The availability of venues for sports and physical activities is a major concern for the university; we need to find ways to ensure clubs don't have to rent facilities and that their training time isn't restricted. Currently, clubs need to be proactive, utilizing available spaces on campus for training, while also ensuring they don't disrupt the learning and research environment of faculty and students during working hours. Funding for these clubs shouldn't be solely from the university; we need to seek social contributions. Furthermore, we need to promote the university's image through the clubs' participation in competitions and friendly matches outside the university. The university's current sports and physical activity programs haven't fully utilized their resources and need to be expanded. Being healthy is essential for better learning, better research, a happier life, and actively contributing to the development of the country. The spirit of sportsmanship is the spirit of overcoming difficulties. Developing the activities of the School Sports Association in particular, and spreading the spirit of sportsmanship—the spirit of overcoming oneself to be faster, stronger, and go further—throughout the entire school, is a challenge in the context of many difficulties. We need to be more active, more proactive, and more responsible."
