Professor, People's Teacher Dinh Xuan Lam (1925-2017)
Professor Dinh Xuan Lam, born in 1925 in Ha Tinh, was a senior expert at Hanoi University (now the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi), former Vice President of the Vietnam Historical Science Association, recipient of the First Class Labor Medal and the Third Class Independence Medal. Due to old age and declining health, he passed away at 2:30 PM on January 25, 2017 (corresponding to the 28th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Monkey). He was 92 years old.
The memorial service will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 AM on Friday, January 27, 2017 (corresponding to the 30th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Monkey), at the Ministry of National Defense Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.
The memorial service and funeral procession will take place at 8:30 AM on Friday, January 27, 2017.
Cremation will take place at the Van Dien Crematorium, Thanh Tri, Hanoi.
