The delegation visited the following educators in turn: People's Teacher Le Hong Sam, Associate Professor and Meritorious Teacher Dang Thi Hanh, Associate Professor and Meritorious Teacher Pham Thi Tam, and Professor and Doctor Hoang Thi Chau. These are renowned and talented female scientists of the past at Hanoi University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. They have made significant contributions to the development and establishment of many academic disciplines at the University, as well as training many generations of talented students for the country.
The delegation visited People's Artist Le Hong Sam - a leading expert on French literature. She was awarded the Order of the Academic Palms by the French Government in 2003.
At the meeting, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan shared with the faculty members the achievements and development directions of the University in the coming years. Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his joy and emotion at the meeting and stated that meeting the faculty members – scientists who have contributed to building the foundation and tradition of research and training at the University – is a great encouragement for future generations. The University hopes that the faculty members will continue to accompany and contribute valuable opinions to the University's development in the future.
