Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim shared his joy at attending the opening ceremony of the short-term Korean language course for Samsung Electronics Vietnam's excellent employees today. This is the 6th time that the Korean Studies Department of the School has been trusted by the company to choose to cooperate in organizing training for the company.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim highly appreciated the vision of the leaders of Samsung Electronics Vietnam, who created favorable conditions for excellent employees to study and master the language. This is the key to success, understanding and acquiring international knowledge.
The Department of Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, with more than 20 years of establishment and development, has risen to the number one position in the country, and is a research and training address for Korean language that is highly appreciated by many Korean experts. In order to select, train and nurture the best students, the department only recruits about 20 to 30 full-time students each year.
Most of the staff of the industry and the faculty are very young and dynamic, with basic and high-quality training. Up to now, previous training courses have had very good feedback on the working spirit and training quality of the faculty's staff.
As a leading training institution in the field of social sciences and humanities in the country, the School always wishes to have more cooperation with the company. Through this cooperation, the School's lecturers are improved. Students have more opportunities to practice and become employees of the company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Cho Ho Seok, General Director of Human Resources Administration of Samsung Electronic Company, expressed his thanks to the School for cooperating in training the company's staff. The students in this course are excellent students, who in the future can be key managers in Samsung Vietnam Company in Bac Ninh.
During the upcoming study period, students need to demonstrate a spirit of diligent study and initiative to maximize the learning efficiency in three months. After completing the course, the knowledge learned will be used to serve the company's operations well.
"You need to realize that you are in a very good position when studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a school with a rich tradition and famous for Korean language training, along with a team of enthusiastic and dedicated lecturers. If you do not study well, this is your own fault," said Mr. Cho Ho Seok.
Mr. Cho Ho Seok also hopes that you will always keep your love for Korean and try to study hard to achieve a minimum overall score of over 70 points."
Ms. Nguyen Minh Chung, the homeroom teacher, is introducing the learning process for the next 12 weeks to the students.
The short-term Korean language course for Samsung Electronics Vietnam's elite employees will take place over 12 consecutive weeks. The target result of students after completing the course is to reach level 4.
During the course, students will study 3 consecutive shifts each day with a total study time of 10 hours. The testing and evaluation process takes place continuously. There will be a short test of 5-10 minutes at the beginning of each class every day. There will be a one-hour test every two weeks and a comprehensive test of all listening, speaking, reading and writing skills every month.
The results of the weekly testing and evaluation process will be fed back to the company leadership.
