Television Broadcasting Training Course, May 2011

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is recruiting students for its short-term training course "Television Production," commencing in May 2011.

I. General Information

ButObject: For students who have graduated from or are currently studying at colleges/universities.TargetUpon completion of the course, students will have grasped the basic theoretical knowledge of television and mastered the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically, the following will be covered:

• Scripts and television scripts; television program production processes; television journalism genres; television terminology.
• The course covers basic television filming techniques such as news, documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice filming on modern video cameras.
• Learn non-linear video editing techniques and popular computer graphics and special effects programs. In-depth training in the latest video editing and special effects software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Hollywood FX, Adobe After Effects… 100% hands-on learning on high-performance computers, practicing on video editing cards from brands like Matrox and Pinnacle… Creating various types of television programs, music videos, commercials…
• Practical time accounts for 70%.

ButStudy time6 weeks. 3 sessions per week.Tuition:

• Students from outside the school: 3,000,000 VND
• Students who are enrolled in the school (with student ID): 2,500,000 VND
• Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with diplomas): 2,700,000 VND

II. Lecturers

Our instructors are highly qualified professionals, professionally trained in journalism and communication in advanced countries around the world, and experienced television, print, and online journalists currently working at central and Hanoi-based media organizations.

III. Graduation Certificate

The certificate is available in both Vietnamese and English, and is issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
