After a dramatic penalty shootout, the Women's Football Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities defeated the Team of the University of Foreign Languages, becoming the champion of the Vietnam National University Hanoi Women's Football Tournament this afternoon, May 8, 2011.In the first half, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities team continuously pressed forward and executed well-coordinated attacks in front of the opponent's goal. However, the girls from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities repeatedly missed golden opportunities, especially a penalty kick in the middle of the first half. In the second half, the advantage remained with the blue-shirted team, but no goals were scored. Entering the penalty shootout, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities team was twice trailing, but their composure and luck helped our girls win 3-2, securing all 6 points from two matches and becoming the champions of the tournament.

This year's tournament features four women's teams competing in a round-robin format; however, the team from the University of Science has withdrawn. In the first match, the team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities defeated the team from the University of Economics with a score of 1-0.
