On April 25th, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University) held a meeting with Professor Chung Sok Suh (Director of the Institute of Korean Studies, University of New South Wales, Australia). During the meeting, the two sides discussed future cooperation plans: jointly undertaking a five-year interdisciplinary research project on public administration, culture, and economic policy. A joint scientific conference is also planned for July 2012.

A joint scientific conference is also planned for July 2012.On the same day, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector) met and worked with Mr. Duong Lang, Vice President of Lijiang Academy (China). Representatives from both sides signed a cooperation agreement regarding the University of Social Sciences and Humanities receiving students from Lijiang Academy - Guangxi Normal University to study Vietnamese. In addition, the leaders from both sides reviewed the cooperation in training over the past four years and discussed future training cooperation programs.
