The conference is scheduled to take place from December 16th to 19th. The program includes a meeting of university rectors, a scientific seminar, and a field trip. Secondly, discussions were held on the implementation of Southeast Asian Studies and Asian Studies training programs, developing them into two internationally oriented, collaborative programs. During the meeting, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh expressed his hope that Bansomdej University and the National University of Laos would collaborate with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to develop a transnational research project on climate change with the theme "Local Knowledge in Responding to Natural Disasters in the Context of Climate Change." On this occasion, the Rector also extended an invitation to the rectors of the two universities to attend the 65th anniversary celebration of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in mid-November.
