This morning, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to launch the campaign in response to the 2010 Thang Long - Hanoi Reading Month.
This morning, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to launch the campaign in response to the 2010 Thang Long - Hanoi Reading Month.This activity is in response to the "Month of Reading about Thang Long - Hanoi" program launched by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City, taking place from September 10th to October 10th, 2010 in all Youth Union branches of the city. The Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the first five branches to organize the launching ceremony, marking the beginning of this meaningful month of activities. At the ceremony, representing the Hanoi City Youth Union, Comrade Nguyen Van Cong - Deputy Head of the School Affairs Department - presented the University's Youth Union with nearly 20 books about Thang Long - Hanoi. Participating in the "Month of Reading about Thang Long - Hanoi" is one of the practical and meaningful activities of the University's Youth Union members and students to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi. It also creates a regular, selective, and widespread reading movement. During the "Month of Reading about Thang Long - Hanoi," Youth Union members and students will be introduced to books about Thang Long - Hanoi, and participate in forums and seminars on reading culture. Interact with authors who have written books about Thang Long - Hanoi; participate in reading sessions at free book service points and many other beneficial activities.
