This morning, June 19, 2015, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, leading a delegation representing the Party Committee and the School's Board of Directors, presented flowers and congratulations to the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2015).

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim praised the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training for continuing to maintain and promote the role of training, research, communication, and image promotion of the University to the outside world, befitting the position of a training and communication unit within a leading research university in the field of social sciences and humanities in the country.

During the recent admissions period, thanks to the proactive, quick, accurate, and timely communication activities of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training, the University's admissions activities achieved many important successes; the percentage of applications submitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was among the top in the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Vice Rector.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim shook hands and congratulated each graduate student in journalism.

In response to the attention and affection shown by the University's leadership towards the Faculty and Center, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, representing the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training, pledged to continue to more effectively fulfill the functions and tasks assigned by the University, contributing to the University's future development orientation.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, along with representatives from various functional departments of the University, took a commemorative photo with the Faculty and Center.

* Yesterday afternoon, June 18, 2015, Dr. Nguyen Viet Loc, Chief of the Office of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Ms. Mai Hoang Anh, Deputy Chief of the Office in charge of communications of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, led a delegation from Vietnam National University, Hanoi to present flowers and congratulate the lecturers of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism Day.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Viet Loc thanked the Center and the Faculty for their active cooperation in the communication activities of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in the past period. As concrete evidence, Dr. Loc emphasized that the success of the communication aspect of the first round of the 2015 VNU entrance exam for competency assessment was due in no small part to the Center and the Faculty.

Building on existing achievements and orienting towards strong future cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Viet Loc hopes that the Center and Faculty will continue to actively exchange and cooperate further with VNU, contributing to promoting the image and brand of VNU in general and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular.
