This morning, July 15, 2008, dressed in the youthful and familiar blue uniforms of young volunteers, students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities simultaneously launched their campaigns, beginning a vibrant summer filled with meaningful activities.
This morning, July 15, 2008, dressed in the youthful and familiar blue uniforms of young volunteers, students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities simultaneously launched their campaigns, beginning a vibrant summer filled with meaningful activities.

This year, nearly 500 students from the university participated in 15 volunteer activities. These included 11 volunteer teams in 11 communes across Ha Tay, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang provinces. Three specialized teams were also present: the Literature Faculty's volunteer team teaching Han Nom (classical Chinese and Vietnamese script) at the Hanoi Children's Cultural Palace; the Oriental Studies Faculty's volunteer team teaching Korean at the Hanoi Children's Cultural Palace; and the Tourism Faculty's volunteer team promoting Thang Long culture at the Temple of Literature and Ngoc Son Temple. A volunteer team of nearly 200 students, providing support during the exam season, carried out counseling and guidance activities for candidates during the two university entrance exam periods, from July 3rd to July 11th, at all exam locations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Students who did not participate in the university's summer volunteer teams were given summer activity vouchers to enable them to volunteer at local youth union branches.

Also this morning, the Youth Union and Student Association of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in coordination with Thach That district (Ha Tay province), organized the launching ceremony for the 2008 summer volunteer campaign at the District People's Committee. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 5 teams participating along with other member units of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in Thach That district.
The summer volunteer activities are expected to end on August 5, 2008.
