This morning, June 16, 2008, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University) and Ms. Dorit Lehrack (Director, representative of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Hanoi) signed a framework agreement on cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Federal Republic of Germany) for the period 2008-2010.
This morning, June 16, 2008, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University) and Ms. Dorit Lehrack (Director, representative of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Hanoi) signed a framework agreement on cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Federal Republic of Germany) for the period 2008-2010.
According to the agreement, both sides agreed to continue cooperation in an open, transparent, and good-faith spirit from 2002 to 2008 and extending to 2010 to support Vietnam's development needs towards sustainable economic development, a just society, and environmental friendliness.

The cooperation agreement came into effect on July 1, 2008, and will provide the basis for cooperation between the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (RLS) and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities until December 31, 2010.
Regarding the scope of cooperation, RLS will support the development and implementation of programs and projects of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, aiming towards:
In addition, RLS will invite the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to participate in workshops and meetings organized by RLS; and to participate in information exchange and expert exchange trips.
According to this agreement, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities commits to proposing programs, projects, and activities in areas of cooperation as agreed upon by both parties. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities assigns the Center for Policy Research and Analysis as the focal point for contact and implementation of cooperation activities with RLS.
