Awarding prizes to 116 excellent students who are children of school officials

This morning, June 13, 2008, the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to award prizes to children of school staff who had good academic achievements and moral cultivation in the past school year.

This is an annual activity of the School Union every summer. Associate Professor, Dr. Lam Ba Nam (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the School) was present at the ceremony to encourage and share joy with the children and their families.

In the 2007-2008 school year, 116 children of school staff achieved the title of excellent students at all levels, including 04 students who were both excellent students and won the City-level excellent student award; 01 student was an excellent student at the School level and won 02 District-level awards; 01 student was an excellent student at the School level and won the District-level Math Encouragement Award. On behalf of the School leadership and the School Union, Associate Professor, Dr. Lam Ba Nam - Vice Principal, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Chairman of the School Union, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Hung - Member of the School Union Executive Committee, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa - Member of the School Union Executive Committee presented many gifts to the children. After the award ceremony, the delegates also enjoyed many funny performances, listened to the children's self-introductions and many cute "confessions" about their families, their studies and their wishes in life.

The award ceremony not only shows the school's concern for the lives of staff and civil servants, and is an opportunity to praise and encourage children to study harder, but it is also an opportunity for families to interact, learn, and exchange experiences in raising good children and building happy families.
