On July 27, the Student Volunteer Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Tan Lap Commune (Moc Chau - Son La) had practical activities to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
On July 27, the Student Volunteer Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Tan Lap Commune (Moc Chau - Son La) had practical activities to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.In the morning, the Team offered incense at the Martyrs' Memorial of Tan Lap Commune. After that, the Team, together with leaders and departments, unions, and families of policy beneficiaries, attended the rally to commemorate War Invalids and Martyrs Day. On this occasion, the Student Volunteer Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Tan Lap presented 70 gifts to representatives of the Veterans Association of Tan Lap Commune. In the evening, in coordination with the local youth union, the Student Volunteer Team of the School organized a cultural exchange night "Candle of Gratitude" between the Team and the Youth Union in the villages and sub-regions of Tan Lap Commune. With the songs and chants praising the Party and the Fatherland of the School's Student Volunteer Team, the smooth traditional dances of the Thai and Mong people, etc., the cultural exchange night was not only a bridge to strengthen solidarity among the participants but also a deep gratitude to the families of policy beneficiaries in general and the heroic martyrs in particular. Also on the morning of July 27, comrade Trinh Minh Thai - Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities visited and worked with the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Tan Lap commune. Here, comrade Trinh Minh Thai presented the gift of the School, which was a set of computers and two boxes of books and newspapers, to the representative of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Tan Lap commune. In the afternoon of the same day, the Secretary of the Youth Union of the School visited and encouraged the volunteer students of the School in families in Hoa village. Up to this point, the Volunteer Student Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has participated in labor in 7 villages, 2 health stations and schools; labored to help 13 policy households; dug and installed more than 200 meters of clean water pipes; propagated reproductive health in 4 villages, continued to participate in teaching and summer activities every afternoon for more than 100 primary school students.
