From May 3rd to May 8th, the Party branch congresses of the Sociology, Vietnamese Studies, and Vietnamese Language departments, as well as the Rectorate II and Rectorate III, took place. These were the first Party branches to hold congresses in preparation for the 26th Party Congress of the University.Party members participated in discussions, contributing many opinions to the draft Political Report of the Party Committee to be presented at the 26th Party Congress; and discussed and contributed opinions to the draft Political Report of the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. All opinions agreed with the assessment of the results of implementing the Resolution of the 25th Party Congress, affirming that the Party Committee had successfully achieved the set goals and tasks. Ideological leadership over all school activities has been effectively implemented and consistent throughout the school's operations, especially in leading and directing professional work. During the past term, the Party Committee also focused on improving the leadership role of the Party branches, innovating the content and methods of Party branch activities, focusing on promoting the recruitment of new Party members, especially among students, and effectively carrying out inspection and supervision work. In general, cadres and Party members maintained their integrity and ethics, and performed their assigned tasks well. The Party Committee has effectively fulfilled its comprehensive leadership role over the school's activities. However, many opinions also pointed out that a few Party branches have not regularly maintained their meeting schedules and have not effectively exercised their comprehensive leadership role over their units. The Party work capacity of some Party committee members is still limited; some Party committee officials have not invested adequate time in Party work. Many opinions also focused on contributing to the development of the basic directions and tasks of the Party Committee in the 26th term, especially in the areas of building and developing the cadre team, reforming the training and utilization of cadres, comprehensively reforming the school's management mechanism, and particularly strengthening leadership in professional work.
