"Effective innovation and comprehensive development" is the action slogan adopted at the 26th Congress of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.In this afternoon's session, June 15, 2010, following the discussion, the Congress voted and elected 57 delegates to attend the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi in August 2010. The Congress also heard the announcement of the results of the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, term XXVI. Accordingly, the Executive Committee elected a Standing Committee consisting of 5 members:
- Dinh Van Huong
- Dang Xuan Khang
- Nguyen Kim Son
- Vu Duc Nghieu
- Nguyen Van Khanh
The goal is for the University to be among the top 400 universities in Asia by 2015.— Resolution of the Party Congress
The Party Committee also continued to nominate and elect the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and the Party Committee's Inspection Committee. The results are as follows:
- Comrade Nguyen Van Khanh holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee;
- Comrade Nguyen Kim Son holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee;
- Comrade Dang Xuan Khang holds the position of Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
Finally, the Congress proceeded to vote on the Draft Resolution, which received 100% approval.
