On April 14, 2017, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a training session on quality assessment for the Anthropology and Political Science training programs.

According to the plan and roadmap for evaluating the quality of training programs in various disciplines until 2020, Anthropology and Political Science are two of the four training programs that will continue to undergo peer evaluation in 2017 (along with Journalism and Tourism and Travel Service Management). To prepare for this activity, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities invited experts from the Institute for Educational Quality Assurance - Vietnam National University, Hanoi to train faculty members on writing self-assessment reports for the Self-Assessment Councils of these disciplines.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Institute of Quality Assurance, VNU Hanoi) introduced the AUN-QA model for quality assurance of educational programs.

On the morning of April 14, 2017, the Anthropology department held a training session.

On the afternoon of April 14, 2016, the Political Science department held a training session.

The specific training content includes:

- The AUN-QA model for program quality assurance and the AUN-QA program self-assessment and external evaluation process.

- Requirements and regulations for self-assessment reports of training programs according to AUN-QA standards for peer quality assessment.

- Explain the requirements of standards 1-6 in the AUN's Curriculum Assessment Standards.

- Explain the requirements of standards 7-11 in the AUN curriculum quality assessment standards.

- Guidance on collecting and processing information and evidence according to standards.
