Professor Pham Quang Minh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, presented the appointment decisions to Associate Professor Tran Thi Kim Oanh (left) - Head of the Department of Religious Studies, and Dr. Nguyen Thi To Uyen (right) - Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Studies.

Professor Pham Quang Minh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Kim Oanh gave a speech after being appointed Head of the Department of Religious Studies.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of various churches in Vietnam:

Venerable Thich Gia Quang, PhD – Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Association, delivered a congratulatory speech.

Father Phan Van Tu - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Catholic Newspaper, delivered a congratulatory speech.

Pastor Ma Phuc Thanh Tuoi – Pastor of the Protestant church, Head of the Protestant Representative Board in Quang Nam, delivered a congratulatory speech.

Mr. Mieu Abbas – Head of the Hanoi Muslim Community Committee – delivered a congratulatory speech.

Venerable Thich Minh Nhan, PhD – Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Kien Giang province, representing the training and research partners with the Department of Religious Studies, delivered a speech.

Mr. Le Hoang Sam, Director of Training at My Son Group, awarded 5 scholarships totaling 25 million VND to the 5 most outstanding students.

The cultural performance "Guests Visiting the House" by K61 Religious Studies students to welcome guests.

Nguyen Duy Cuong, a former student of Religious Studies, class of 54, performed the song "The Teacher".
