On November 18, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University and Prof. Hasegawa Toshikazu - Rector of the Graduate School of General Cultural Studies and Rector of the University of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo, Japan - signed a cooperation agreement between the two schools.
On November 18, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University and Prof. Hasegawa Toshikazu - Rector of the Graduate School of General Cultural Studies and Rector of the University of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo, Japan - signed a cooperation agreement between the two schools.The content of the cooperation agreement between the two schools: together will build a Japanese research support program in Vietnam, with the implementing agency located in Hanoi. The cooperation agreement is valid until the end of 2016. Along with that, the leaders of the two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding on the exchange program of students, postgraduate students and researchers between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Graduate School of General Cultural Studies, University of Science and Arts, University of Tokyo. The exchange program has the following specific terms: - The time to receive students participating in the student exchange program is not more than 1 year - Each year the number of exchange students of the two schools does not exceed 5 people - Students participating in this program are not eligible to receive a degree from the receiving school - The receiving school, upon request of the sending school, will send a report on the learning results of the exchange students to the sending school - The receiving school exempts the entrance exam, admission fee and tuition for exchange students. The memorandum is valid for 5 years. The Graduate School of Comprehensive Cultural Studies is one of the member schools of the University of Tokyo, providing training in the fields of: Humanities and Sociology, Arts and Sciences, Law, Education, Public Policy... The University of Tokyo is one of the research universities in Japan. The school has 10 faculties with a total of 30,000 students, including 2,100 international students.
