On November 19, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate and congratulate Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Attending were veteran teachers and leaders of the University from all periods, staff, lecturers and students of the University.

On November 19, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate and congratulate Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Attending were veteran teachers and leaders of the University from all periods, staff, lecturers and students of the University.On behalf of the school's leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - School Principal - congratulated and expressed gratitude to generations of veteran teachers and school leaders through the years. Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal reviewed the outstanding achievements that the school's staff, lecturers, students and trainees have strived to achieve in the past school year in all activities: in the 2010-2011 school year, the first course of credit-based training graduated; dozens of scientific research project topics were accepted, 25 scientific seminars were organized, including 16 international scientific seminars; the number of foreign students studying is increasing with over 800 students; international cooperation relations are expanded with more than 120 international partners...

The Principal emphasized: promoting the tradition of the 2011-2012 school year, the staff, students and trainees of the School will continue to perform well their tasks, transform the training program, strengthen scientific research, expand international cooperation, innovate university governance, build and develop the School to international standards. Prof. Vu Duong Ninh - Chairman of the School's Former Teachers' Association - was happy and proud of the achievements the School has achieved and shared memories of the difficult and arduous days that the previous generation of teachers had gone through but still always fulfilled their duties of teaching well and studying well. The Professor believes that the team of teachers today will be the pioneering and core force to bring the country's social sciences and humanities into international integration. And the Professor also puts his trust in the will, the advancement and the proactive spirit of students, trainees and postgraduates who will be a new, young and creative scientific force, continuing the scientific career of the previous generation.

Representatives of the school's staff and students expressed their gratitude and admiration for the contributions of previous generations to the cause of building and developing the school. The school's staff and students will continue to promote the tradition, learn from the selfless work examples of previous generations of teachers, and strive to fulfill the strategic tasks of the school. At the ceremony, the school also congratulated two teachers who met the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2011: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Faculty of International Studies and Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Lan - Faculty of Philosophy.
