Dear kind-hearted donors,
In accordance with the Government's policy and the directives of Hanoi National University, to ensure the safety of students and to actively contribute to the epidemic prevention and control efforts of the Capital and the whole country, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has strictly implemented the social distancing policy, but continues to organize online learning for all students.
Among the nearly 8,000 students currently enrolled at the university, many are from outside Hanoi and live in dormitories and rented rooms. Their lives are therefore fraught with difficulties, such as shortages of food and other basic necessities. According to a quick survey conducted by the University's Department of Politics and Student Affairs, as of 5:00 PM on April 9, 2020, 540 students had submitted requests for assistance.
With a spirit of mutual support and compassion, the school encourages students to proactively strive for improvement while also hoping to help them overcome these difficult circumstances. We sincerely hope to receive the companionship, sharing, and support of benefactors. The school believes that solidarity and sharing at this time will give students more motivation and strength to study and train well. This is also a practical way for all of us to contribute to fulfilling the political task of repelling the Covid-19 pandemic assigned by the Party and the Government.
