At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) briefly introduced the history of development, training scale and international relations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University is a prestigious institution in training and research in Social Sciences and Humanities. The Asian Studies Department of the University has trained many students with in-depth knowledge of Thailand and good Thai language skills. Every year, the University sends students and lecturers to exchange study and research at leading universities in Thailand. The University currently has official cooperative relations with more than 20 Thai universities such as Chukalongkon, Mahidol, Thamasat, Chiang Mai, Bangsomdejchaopraya Rajabhat, Ubon Rajathanee. The University is currently aiming to internationalize its activities, so strengthening cooperation with foreign partners is very important.
In response, Associate Professor Dr. Krisna Na Nongkhai thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for its warm welcome and proposed a number of cooperative activities between Udonthani Rajabhat University and the University, including organizing international conferences, exchanging students and lecturers, and implementing 2+2, 1,3 training programs. In particular, Udonthani Rajabhat University hopes that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will support the training and organization of Vietnamese language exams through the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Assessment Test for foreigners, including 6 levels, which the University has compiled.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh pledged to create the best conditions to support the training and assessment of Vietnamese language proficiency for staff and lecturers of Udonthani Rajabhat University. The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language together with the Department of Cooperation and Development will be the focal point for cooperation between the two sides. The two sides are expected to sign a cooperation agreement this year.

Currently, Udon Thani Rajabhat has more than 21 thousand students including 242 international students, 479 lecturers and 336 staff. The school has 5 faculties including: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Management Sciences and Faculty of General Management Sciences.
